Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been in business?
Our company was established in August of 2007 by our co-founders, Kyle Faber and Andrew Martin.
What makes you different than all the 1,023,394 web design companies out there?
What makes us stand out from the pack is—hands-down—value. While this term may seem a bit overused, for Regal Creative, it is absolutely true. The quality of our work, when it comes to design, development, and cost, rivals the best firms in the nation.
Because of this, we urge you to shop around. Look at the other designers in the area—find out what they charge for their solutions and see if they're interested in building a relationship (or partnership, as we like to call it). Then, come on over and let's compare. If they’ll provide you with better quality at a lower cost, and you feel a better connection—well, then they’re probably the right fit for you. But we’d like to believe otherwise.

Do you have pre-packaged websites that I can choose from?
Nope. And if you're asking, you must have seen this at other companies. These solutions are typically restrictive, and the quality normally doesn’t meet our standards.
How much will it cost for a website?
Our costs vary. As we mentioned above, we don't pre-package our web solutions, since we find them to be restrictive to both our clients and ourselves. To most accurately quote your project, we like to sit down and fully discuss all the details with you. By doing this, we'll be able to estimate the cost and the timelines of the project, plus we can get to know you better, and you, us. Forming partnerships with our clients is our primary objective, as it will help keep the lines of communication flowing and ensure that you're happy and informed through every step of the process.
Can we pay on a payment plan?
Not on a regular basis. Typically, our payment structure starts with a down-payment of around 50 percent, with the remainder due at the time of completion, or within three months of the project setup (whichever comes first). However, depending on the scope of the project, we may be open to exploring this option. Please don't hesitate to ask.
Do you provide hosting services for websites?
Yes and no.
Yes and no. Since we're a website design firm, we don’t provide hosting as an à la carte service. We do offer a variety of hosting services as a convenience to our clients. Hosting is typically one of the only recurring costs associated with a web design project. So, yes, we do offer hosting, but only to our web clients.

Can we have this done yesterday?
Well, if it isn’t done yet, we’re sorry—that ship has sailed. That said, we're a small firm with large capabilities. We can work within rather tight time constraints, but we don't like to operate with a "need to have it done yesterday" mindset.
At Regal Creative, our focus relies on the business triangle: quality, cost, and time; and we charge accordingly. For example, if you ask us to do a low-cost project with a tight turnaround, the quality won't be quite as high. Conversely, if you want a high-quality website in a short amount of time, it will be a little more costly. We feel that having more time is in our clients' best interest so we can provide higher quality at a lower cost.
We're proud of the flexibility we offer our clients, so if you have a project with a tight schedule, please give us a call at (414) 455-0552. We'll do our best to meet your deadline and surpass all your expectations.

How long will my website take to finish?
The timelines set for a web project are largely dependent on the size and complexity of the project. Typically, it takes six to ten weeks, from the time we make contact to the day your site goes live.
How is your tech support?
Our tech support is pretty darn good, in our opinion (and our clients', too!). With our ticketing system for updates, support issues, feature requests, and the like, we stay on top of our clients' needs.
If we launch our website and want to add more to it later on, can we do that for free?
This is another yes-and-no question. If you'd like to include any other components after we sign the service agreement for your project, it will incur an extra cost. Have something to implement after the site is launched? We’ll quote it upon request. If you’re set up with a content management system website, then you're free to add whatever you'd like yourself, often with little effort.
What is your hourly rate?
Our rate is presently set at $75 per hour. While this is on the lower end of the industry scale, it still allows us to provide you with the level of service and product that you expect—and beyond.
What is a content management system?
A content management system, also called a CMS, is a platform that allows users to easily (in most cases) manage the content on their website without the need for programming skills (again, in most cases).

You provided me with on-site optimization services last week—why isn’t my website ranking better yet?
The truth is, no one (anywhere) has control over how your website ranks in the natural, organic search results. There are many minute factors that go into a well-ranking website. Three of the primary ones are:
SEO is a marketing tactic that should be an ongoing, never-ending process. Because of this, many business owners learn how to optimize themselves, or pay an individual or a firm to do it for them regularly.
Because SEO isn’t a science, it may be beneficial for us to explore this issue in person. Let's chat. Call us at (414) 455-0552.
- High-quality content
- A well-optimized website
- A strong and properly executed link and social media strategy (if applicable)

Will you update our website content even if we aren't one of your clients?
We definitely have the capabilities to help you update your website—both the design and the content—but our answer is based on a few factors:
- Our availability. While we'd like to help you update your site, we need to keep our current clients in mind. If we're currently swamped and you're able to be flexible, we'll schedule a deadline that's a few days or weeks away.
- Your budget. Like a from-scratch project, our quote will depend on the quantity and complexity of the updates.
- The site's accessibility. We'll need full access to your website, including the server and all the files. If your site is restricted, we recommend hiring your previous web developer to take on the updates. If that's not an option, let's talk about starting from the ground up.
