indieBRAG’s mission is to discover talented self-published authors and help give their work the attention and recognition it deserves.

To do this, they award the B.R.A.G. Medallion by analyzing the works of self-published authors and providing unbiased feedback that results in a “yes” or “no” decision for the award. The B.R.A.G. Medallion has become the standard for designating the highest quality books written by independently published authors.

indieBRAG knew that the indie-publishing industry was maturing at a fast pace. As a long time partner of ours, they wanted to explore how they could become more efficient, more accessible, and better serve the needs of their audiences. Our team set out to design and develop a platform that would help them do all these things.

Creating a
connection platform

Before thinking about any design, or working on developing any feature for the new bragmedallion.com, we started with a comprehensive strategy that addressed the needs of all indieBRAG’s personas. By taking the time to plan up front how authors, readers and book enthusiasts would interact with the new website, we were able to manage the project in a way that kept us on time and within budget.
