1st National Bank:
Making Every Interaction
a Positive Experience

Growin’ Wisconsin—one person, one business, one relationship at a time.

The expectations and standards for how a business delivers their products and services to the consumer, have dramatically changed as the internet becomes more integrated in our lives. 1st National Bank (formerly First National Bank) understood this reality and wasn’t going to wait around to take the steps necessary to continuously exceed their client’s expectations.

As a local bank with nine locations throughout eastern Wisconsin, being an integral part of the communities their branches are part of is the lifeblood of the organization.

1st National turned to us to help relaunch their updated brand and message with a new website that met their clients where they were, and provide an easier means to convey the value they deliver over other, larger national bank brands.

Preparing a
Plan for Success

With multiple audiences who often use 1st National’s website as a tool to access their accounts, we were tasked with creating an experience that would attract new clients, while still allowing current clients to complete their daily tasks.

Partnering with the marketing director and a team of over 10 key stakeholders, we created a detailed information architecture outline that mapped their internal personas with the content required to inform and enable their clients. This outline provided the direction needed to create and optimize the content required for the end user.

What we delivered:

  • Information Architecture Strategy
  • Website Migration Strategy
  • Responsive Design & Development (WordPress CMS)
  • Content Editing for Tone of Voice
  • On-site Search Engine Optimization

Results you could take to the bank

While 1st National Bank was really looking to gain a functional web platform that allowed them to manage their own content (which was very restricted on their previous platform), as update their website design to better align with their corporate rebrand, there were some very positive results that came from our work together, simply by the way we approach what we do.
